  1. The product variant management page in Shopware 6 wastes significant screen space on larger monitors, forcing unnecessary horizontal and vertical scrolling. The table is too narrow and doesn’t adapt to the available screen size, making key information harder to access.

    Proposed Solution:

    • Dynamically resize the table to fill the available screen space.
    • Add options for compact view and column customization.
    • Enable full-screen mode for data-intensive pages. These changes will enhance usability, save time, and improve the user experience.

    Problem Description:

The current user interface of the Shopware 6 product variant management page does not efficiently utilize the available screen…

  3. It would be great, if B2B store would have the option to add selection or comment fields on product detail pages.

This could be used, so that buyers can directly select the cost center or the project, which the product is bought for. This information could then be automatically integrated into the invoices, saving a lot of manually effort for the finance department.

  4. Add a search bar to block sidebar and element selection to get blocks and elements quicker.
Important when more elements/blocks are added with plugins/apps.

  5. We want to use the media library to provide PDF files for download on CMS pages. While there are special plugins for this, sometimes a simple link would do.

    Current process:

    1. go to media library
    2. finde the PDF
    3. use copy link
    4. go to CMS page
    5. click the "link" button
    6. choose URL option
    7. paste the link, remove the base URL (for better portability between development and production instances)

A better approach would be to be able to directly link to media files in place.

    See the attached screenshot:

    1) I click the link button
    2) I choose "media file in…

  6. It would be nice to have the possibility to use SQL commands for filling fields in a store page. It would be helpful, for example, to automatically display an overview of the store's shipping costs or to automatically implement values from the database that are relevant for customers in a store page without having to adapt all store pages with these values when changes are made.

  7. When creating a custom module via the manifest.xml, the iframe is always full-sized, nicely filling in all usable space in the Administration.
When creating a custom module using the Admin Extension SDK, the iframe has a dynamic height and is not full sized. This is understandable when using the iframe in a 'card' component, but for a custom module, it should be an option to automatically size the iframe to fill the admin page.

  8. It would be useful if the shop owner could decide/set whether the link to the manufacturer's website (click on the logo/manufacturer on the product detail page) is opened externally in the new tag or in the same tab.

If a store page for the manufacturer is to be displayed instead of the manufacturer's website, this is less useful in a new tab.

Here it would be better if the owner had the option of opening the page in a new tab or in the same one

  9. Insert dynamic URLs. This is standard in a CMS. Dynamic URLs have the advantage that the links on a website are automatically adjusted with every update and do not have to be changed manually. Thus, the links should automatically adapt as soon as, for example, a landing page is moved or renamed.

  12. A CMS Page contains of sections, blocks and elements. Shopware offers only 2 different sections (sidebar/content and content).
Blocks can easily be moved between sections and within sections - making editing a breeze.

Sections only with 2 columns sidebar/content and 1 column content are not enough.
Many plugins add columns to blocks, but moving content between blocks is not possible. We loose the strong feature of moving blocks with text or images between sections.

Solution: add at least one additional section with 3 equal columns.

Thus making moving blocks and editing much easier.

  13. We would prefer that after the one-to-one replacement of images in the media manager automatically clears the cache.
This is already known from other CMS systems.

The reason why the feature would be good is that the page does not display an image without clearing the cache. Since the old assignment was overwritten and the new assignment is not active

  14. When browsing in shops with a very similar assortment, it is often hard to see what is already in the basket, and the customer ends often up on a product that is already in the cart. It would be great to have a system config for that to enable or disable a badge function on the listing and product detail page.

I had this experience recently when buying a pair of jeans pants, which at first glance looked all the same in the listing. It should be performant if just the UUIDs are compared/matched (like Rules).

  15. When a customer views a product page on a mobile device, it is possible to swipe through the different product images.

However, once the gallery (full screen) is opened, it is no longer possible to navigate through the images by swiping, and only the arrow keys can be used.

This behavior is not transparent and therefore not comprehensible to the customer, making it feel like an error.

  16. According to § 312i Para. 1 S. 1 No. 1 BGB in conjunction with. Art. 246c No. 3 EGBGB, the customer must be provided with adequate, effective and accessible technical means and informed about how input errors can be recognised and corrected before the order is placed. Adequate technical means in this sense are clearly labelled

In the present case, the e-mail address is not shown on the order page/checkout.

This must be supplemented with appropriate correction options so that the consumer can recognise and correct incorrect entries.

  18. Within the cross-selling configuration or the ‘Shopping Experiences’, it should be possible to select different positions for the different cross-sellings.

This would allow the product detail page to be quickly customised even without individual programming.

  19. Currently, there are three ways to activate the Erlebniswelten design in the shop:

Through the CMS editor, where you can assign the layout to a category.

Directly in the category, under the "Layout" tab.

In the "General" tab of the category, using the "Configure homepage" button in the navigation section.

In my opinion, these options are confusing as they can override each other. Specifically, the "Configure homepage" button overwrites settings from both the CMS editor and the "Layout" tab, which can lead to changes not being reflected in the frontend if the original configuration in that…

  20. The AI-generated checkout message sometimes takes 10 seconds to generate if there are many products in the shopping cart.

Many customers close the page during this time. It would be better if the messages were generated in the background beforehand or if a faster AI model were used.
