  1. When browsing in shops with a very similar assortment, it is often hard to see what is already in the basket, and the customer ends often up on a product that is already in the cart. It would be great to have a system config for that to enable or disable a badge function on the listing and product detail page.

I had this experience recently when buying a pair of jeans pants, which at first glance looked all the same in the listing. It should be performant if just the UUIDs are compared/matched (like Rules).

  2. Within the cross-selling configuration or the ‘Shopping Experiences’, it should be possible to select different positions for the different cross-sellings.

This would allow the product detail page to be quickly customised even without individual programming.

  4. It would be great, if B2B store would have the option to add selection or comment fields on product detail pages.

This could be used, so that buyers can directly select the cost center or the project, which the product is bought for. This information could then be automatically integrated into the invoices, saving a lot of manually effort for the finance department.

  5. Currently, there are three ways to activate the Erlebniswelten design in the shop:

Through the CMS editor, where you can assign the layout to a category.

Directly in the category, under the "Layout" tab.

In the "General" tab of the category, using the "Configure homepage" button in the navigation section.

In my opinion, these options are confusing as they can override each other. Specifically, the "Configure homepage" button overwrites settings from both the CMS editor and the "Layout" tab, which can lead to changes not being reflected in the frontend if the original configuration in that…

  6. According to § 312i Para. 1 S. 1 No. 1 BGB in conjunction with. Art. 246c No. 3 EGBGB, the customer must be provided with adequate, effective and accessible technical means and informed about how input errors can be recognised and corrected before the order is placed. Adequate technical means in this sense are clearly labelled

In the present case, the e-mail address is not shown on the order page/checkout.

This must be supplemented with appropriate correction options so that the consumer can recognise and correct incorrect entries.

  7. When creating a custom module via the manifest.xml, the iframe is always full-sized, nicely filling in all usable space in the Administration.
When creating a custom module using the Admin Extension SDK, the iframe has a dynamic height and is not full sized. This is understandable when using the iframe in a 'card' component, but for a custom module, it should be an option to automatically size the iframe to fill the admin page.

  8. Please place a loudspeaker symbol (or other) on the start page in the backend and preferably on each element so that you can give feedback in the menu that is just open.
Why: The number of feedbacks and interactions (likes and comments) on feedback.shopware.com has so far been very low.

  9. There should be a way to create language-specific SEO URL templates, i.e. have a language switch in the administration page just like in most other settings.

Simple translations of category or product data are already possible via the corresponding .translated property, but it would be better to have full control over how the SEO URLs are generated per shop language.

This would also allow adding translatable strings to the templates (such as substituting special characters in product or category names with a language-specific URL-friendly string), which currently isn't possible.

  10. Add native functionality for A/B testing, maybe based on rules.
    Potential interesting areas:
    - Category pages
    - Product sorting
    - Product detail pages
    - Landingpages
    - Checkout steps

  11. In SW5 there was a "new products" function on the product detail page - in a slider.

Would be nice to have this as standard in SW6.

  12. The selection of values within the dropdown menus in Shopware Admin is very error-prone.

For example, if additional countries are to be added or removed within the sales channel, the menu only ever shows 25 entries and each entry has to be clicked individually. This is very error-prone and you should also be able to select/deselect “all” entries.

This would make it easier for large customers to use the Admin, as the problem occurs at various points in the Admin.

  13. We are developing a Shopware shop for a new customer. One of the features is dynamic pricing (customer-based prices) where customers are shown personalized prices that are loaded from an api. We had this working, deployed it to a test environment and noticed it didn't work because the cache is enabled on category and product detail pages when the production mode is enabled.

We load the prices using a subscriber that is based on '\Shopware\Core\Content\Product\Subscriber\ProductSubscriber'. But because of the caching in classes like '\Shopware\Core\Content\Category\SalesChannel\CachedCategoryRoute' the 'SalesChannelEntityLoadedEvent' is never fired and the original Shopware prices are cached as part of…

  17. Within the /checkout/confirm page the unit price of each line item should be displayed - instead of just the "(incl. / excl.) VAT" and the "total" columns, as it is currently the case.

  18. Right now, it's not possible to add a trailing slash to the domains at the sales channel settings. Therefore the hreflang is set without the trailing slash. This leads to a problem with Google, because the hreflang entries are not recognized. I already wrote to the Shopware support and a service guy confirmed the problem. This is a requirement from Google and anybody needs it.

  19. When configuring a Shopping Experience template, you should get more detailed error messages when misconfiguring a given block.

For example: Creating a new product detail page with the "Three columns, product boxes" block is not possible without configuring it. When trying to save it only says
"Page could not be saved, because of the following errors:
Some blocks were not configured sufficiently."

It would be nice to have a better feedback on which blocks are actually misconfigured. Either via a red border or by actually pointing to it somehow.
