Admin Search: Search for content for custom fields
Search for custom fields, which are assigned/available in admin panel e.g. in orders or customers. The simplest thing would be to extend the search range so that the custom fields can also be searched. The AI Cockpit can already do this, it just needs to be extended to the search. Usage e.g. for Authorities, distributors, public offices or organizations that use internal order numbers and refers only to this numbers. Data that is fed into the custom fields in reverse from external merchandise management systems, etc.

Search Keywords
It should be possible to store search keywords for landing pages. This means, for example, that the career page could also be found under the search keyword job, jobs...education.

Separators in Advanced Search
In Advanced Search it should be possible to define the separators. Many article numbers have a " , ". Because the search interprets this as a separator, the search result is bad.

Search - Exclude specific categories from the search.
Currently, it is not possible to exclude individual categories from the search. This would be useful for footer categories.

Admin Search: Search term disappears when switching search area
When using the search in Admin and you change the search area, the already entered search term disappears and needs to be re-entered.
This is a potential cause for frustration.
Imagine entering your product name, just to realise that you are in the search area "Orders", then switching to the search area "Products" and having to re-enter the same search term again.

EN:
Set if the search used fuzzy search (fault tolerant) or not because we have the problem there are to many search results, if type the exact mail address in the customer search field, of the mail address domain. If typed in the exact mail address only one or two results (if there is a customer and a guest account with the same mail address should the shown). If entered the mail address domain only all customer with the exact mail address domain should be shown. The search bar in the admin for customers is in great need of improvement.

Custom layout for search results page
To further customise a shop's customer journey, it should be possible to customise the search results page.
For categories with a layout with a product listing element, there is the option to activate/deactivate filters and to activate/deactivate filterable product properties as filters in the category settings and/or in the element settings.
There should also be such an option for the search results page.

Switch search category without deleting search prompt in the admin
When using the search in the admin, switching the search category from "all" to any other entity, the search term or search prompt previously entered gets deleted.
It would be more practical if the search term remained and the results would be displayed accordingly after switching the search category.1 vote -
Barcode scanning in the search
The customer should be able to use his mobile phone to create order lists and orders. He can use his mobile phone in the search and scan a barcode, for example. The article number is then inserted into the search field or into the quick order via the barcode. Especially interesting in the b2b sector

Exclude Product from Search
As a shop owner I still want to show former products and their variants to users and keep the URLs valid.
Only recent versions and products not excluded from search should appear within the in-store search.
https://store.shopware.com/de/esmx267827209428m/artikel-aus-suche-ausschliessen.html lists the extension's feature to be available with Shopware 6.
Actually it is not.
While you can exclude a product to appear in listings and you being able to exclude it from listings AND search ... there is no option to exclude it from search only.

Lack in search
This does not live up to the name, even as an advanced version. Again, not even basic functions like boost and burry, synonyms, redirects or result manipulation are included. In addition, the search cannot be switched off when using external tools (which has its advantages and disadvantages). You are forced to rely on an external solution, although this should be a matter of course for a store and belongs to the basics. Especially with the more expensive packages.

Make Advanced Search 2.0 more configurable
EN
Advanced Search 2.0 / OpenSearch already offers good results. However, not all users can make optimum use of it because, for example, it is not possible to set how much deviation a result may have compared to the top-ranked result. In the technical trade, product names can be very close to each other, so an exact match is often required here. Although the best results are presented first, similar results are also presented. For example, S25 and S25+ would be very close to each other and therefore offer the potential for a bad purchase with subsequent returns. For…

Advanced Search configuration: ranking of fields
Currently it's not possible to set a ranking for the different product data fields. You can only prioritize if a field is relevant for the search or not - hence a title is as important as a description. This leads to false or bad search results.

Improve Admin search customer module
When creating a new order (Orders > Create order), the first step is for colleagues to search for a customer, usually using the e-mail address.
The customer they are looking for often only appears on page 4-5 of the search results - if they are found at all.
If no matching customer is found, colleagues use the “Create customer” button and enter the relevant customer data.
However, when saving, it is often found that the email address entered already exists, which leads to an abort.
Suggestions for improvement:

Improve search algorithms to find customers faster…

Commercial: Advanced Search - show how ranking was determined
In older versions of Shopware 6 the ranking points were shown in the advanced search preview. Currently it is not possible to estimate or optimise the search results, because the shares in the ranking can only be determined manually - if at all.
Please make the ranking more comprehensible again.
The is another feedback that seems to belong to default search (https://feedback.shopware.com/forums/942607-shopware-6-product-feedback-ideas/suggestions/45589468-understandable-search-results) maybe it's possible to find an algorithm for both.

AI copilot for storefront search
It would be great if the AI copilot could be part of the search. A search term could be a prompt as well. For example: "Show me all the red shoes in size 11 from the brand Nike released this year".
